  Good Turn for Nature

September 1 to October 31, 2020   (TODAY)

Good Turn for Nature, September - November

In its early days, Boy Scouts "played games, went on hikes and learned stalking and pioneering". We are pleased to announce a partnership with the Children of Indiana Nature Park that aligns with our history, helping connect Scouts to our nature world.

In the Fall of 2019, our council community service project will be Good Turn for Nature. The Children of Indiana Nature Park and its partners - The Nature Conservancy, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Cope Environmental Center, and Bicentennial Nature Center Network members - will provide opportunities to engage Boy Scouts in hands-on conservation activities and raise awareness about caring for Nature with next generation.

Units can select a location and time for their Good Turn for Nature service project from a list of available activities, whether it is an event with a specific date and time or a project where they can work with the host organization contact person to select a date and time. Or they can create their own Good Turn for Nature Event” by clicking here (link will stay available till end of 2018)
